CCAA news more files still on March 2006

CCAA has finished the review of the adoption application documents registered with their office before 31 December 2007. They have also finished the placement of children for the families whose adoption application documents were registered with their office before 28 March 2006.

wow time is moving faster if you can believe it there are now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
not sure what that means..
Married 7 years next week, turning 39 is 8 weeks hmmmm time moves on..

80 Batches to GO!!

There is all sorts of rumours floating around about china and that there is only 12,000 files in China!! wow wouldnt that be nice. how true it is... who knows..
anyway there has been more allocations a batch from NSW have been allocated. so i looked at Dec 2008 and there was 84 batches to go.. now there is 80 so there is movement.
I am starting to feel like my dream of us being a family is never going to happy and i am surround by family and friends living my dream.. an complaining about it..
I look forward to the time when i can complain about being a mother... and this nightmare that i am living seems like a bad dream.
How do i do that without wishing my life away??

wait time updates...

"March 2006 has an extremely high amount of people logged in. Once that month is finished then the other months will be referred faster as there are fewer people logged in.

Once May 2007 LIDs have all been referred then there will be a perceived speed up as far fewer people are logged in after that date & the physical numbers of days being referred each month will increase.

At a guess we could be referring March 2007 LIDs from late 2012 if the past 2 months of referral numbers are maintained. It is still too far out to make decent predictions as attrition, economics etc will continue to play a part with waiting parents"
Not sure if the peson who wrote this thinks it helpful... but we are april 2008!! so does that mean i wont have a baby until 2013??? OMG i will be 43.. there has to be another way...

2 year 4months and 3 days

Today the 14th of April that is how long we have been a part of this process... OMG! the wait is killing me, whilst every woman around me fulfills her dream of being a mother i am still waiting...

Not much more to say than that, i knew i should have gone to karate and then i woulndt have looked at the website and i wouldnt have this awful sinking feeling :(

Small reminder we are batch 46, we are 202 in line they are up to 119... going to be a long wait.. they waited 3 years and 1 month...
